Trying to lose those last five pounds? Health and nutrition expert Joy Bauer suggests that you strap on a pedometer and walk at least 10,000 steps per day. Drink two glasses of water before breakfast, lunch, and dinner - this will fill you up and take the edge off your hunger, so you'll eat less. Prior to dinner, eat one serving of a vegetable before eating your meal. Vegetables are high in fiber, which will make you feel full, causing you to eat less. Going out for dinner? The minute you sit down, ask the waiter to take that tempting bread basket away!
