The Huffington Post has confirmed De La Garza will play Connie Rubirosa in an upcoming episode of "SVU." The character, who was last seen on "Law & Order: LA" as an ADA, is now a federal prosecutor in New York and heading up a joint task force on underage sex trafficking.
"SVU" has brought in other "Law & Order" characters before. Kathryn Erbe has played her "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" character Alexandra Eames in two episodes of "SVU."
No date for De La Garza's episode has been set.
