Just like any other couple, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman try to keep their romance alive and thriving.
So, in order to make their long distance relationship work, as Urban says, the couple sexts. (Well, every once in a while.)
In an appearance on "Ellen," Urban admits that it's hard juggling his tour, "American Idol" duties, and marriage, telling Ellen DeGeneres that he and Kidman figure out their situation whenever a new movie or gig comes up.
"We just make it work," Urban, 46, says of how he and Kidman, also 46, balance it all, adding that their two kids, Sunday, 5, and Faith, 2, are in London with Kidman while she films a movie.
"We never text, we never email," he continues. "Phone calls only, which I really love."
But Urban quickly adds that he needs to exchange some "sexy texts" with his wife in order to keep the fire burning.
"Maybe one text. Maybe one cool kind of, you know ... a year, one of those kinds of texts, yes, one of those ones with the accompanying photo," he explains, fumbling over his words.
"What kind of text? What do you mean?" DeGeneres asks as the audience laughs.
"Nice sex texting ... se-texting," the suddenly shy singer admits, "I'm a little red right now, isn't that weird ..."
