Every Way With Mac And Cheese Burgers (PHOTOS)

Stuffed, topped, fried, and combined with bacon -- these recipes are taking burger-making to the next level.

Over the last year alone, we've encountered food inventions that have, quite literally, blown our minds. We met the cronut, and then were subsequently confused by its overwhelming popularity (guys, it's just a croissant in the shape of a donut), the ramen burger, and a bacon soda that we then forced our poor HuffPost Live host to drink.

Now we're introducing you to another food invention that combines two of our favorite foods: the mac and cheese burger. While it's been around for a while, this inventive burger has been getting quite a bit of attention lately -- mostly catalyzed by Guy Fieri's contest-winning version and the 'Mac Attack' variety, courtesy of Chicago's Rockit Burger Bar. But these aren't the only two mac and cheese burgers that have hit restaurants' (and bloggers') radars. In honor of the greatness that is this ground-breaking hybrid, we've compiled 8 of the most creative, crazy, and somewhat delicious-looking mac and cheese burgers.
