Princess Mary's Australia Tour Wardrobe Is A Lesson In Expert Packing (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Princess Mary Teaches Us A Valuable Lesson In Packing

We can pretty much picture Princess Mary packing her suitcase on the eve of her trip to Australia. The Danish royal was about to head back to her native country, so the pressure was on to turn it out.

Spoiler alert: She did.

During her five-day trip to Sydney to mark the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House, Mary turned it out in multiple appearances alongside her husband, Crown Prince Frederick. Her knee-length sheaths, collarless coat and nude pumps (notably, those studded Valentino heels) made for quite a lesson in expert packing -- so many mix-and-match possibilities.

Whether she was attending celebrations honoring Jorn Utzen, the architect behind the Sydney Opera House, or stopping by the Sydney Children's Hospital, Mary seemed to look stylish and appropriate during each of her engagements. The icing on the cake? Mary and Frederik hitting up the Crown Prince Couple Awards 2013 today in formalwear fit for a royal fairytale.

Ladies, this is how a style pro packs for a quick trip. We'll go ahead and assume you won't be needing the evening gown, though.
