A woman who hadn't been seen since Saturday was found dead in her Houston home on Monday night.
Houston police said Meghan Hairston's death could be tied to two home invasions at her house over the weekend, KTRK reports:
According to police, Hairston filed two separate reports to police within the last week. On Friday, she reported a home invasion where four unknown males took items from the house and then made her drive to several ATMs to withdraw money.
The next day, Hairston told cops her house was burglarized again and her car was stolen.
The Associated Press reports that Hairston's body was found by her mom who came to her daughter's home after being unable to reach her.
Autopsy results are pending.
Keye TV reports that police consider Hairston's death a homicide.
