'Extreme Cheapskates' Premiere: Couple Shares Everything ... Including A Casket? (VIDEO)

'Extreme Cheapskates' Couple Plans To Share A Casket

How cheap are you? Odds are you're nowhere near as cheap as those featured on "Extreme Cheapskates." The TLC series is back to shine a spotlight on people like Karissa and Rick Parrans, a couple who share everything and spend only $25 a week. And we do mean they share everything!

The couple explained how they share a single razor, a toothbrush, dental floss, they each use one end of the same cotton swab, and they share a stick of deodorant. "We’re only allowed one wipe per armpit," Karissa said. She went on to explain that they keep tabs on toilet flushes, with the one who flushed more owing extra on the electric and water bills.

They even plan to share eternity together. The episode followed the couple shopping for funeral bargains. Their plan is to share a casket -- if one dies first, they'll exhume that body when the other passes and pile the second body on top of the first. Entertainment Weekly's James Hibberd found himself skeptical of the couple -- can people really be that cheap?

"Extreme Cheapskates" continues every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
