Kyrie Irving made a bold prediction after leading his Cavs to a season-opening win over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
On his way to the locker room, Irving was asked what the team's realistic expectations are. The 2011-12 Rookie of the Year said Cleveland will still be playing basketball in late April.
"Playoffs. Without a doubt. We've got the team to do it," he said. "Head of the snake. You're looking at him. Got to get it going."

The Cavs had only 24 wins last year and Irving only played in 59 games due to a shoulder injury. But with the additions of draft picks Anthony Bennett and Tyler Zeller -- along with seven-footer Andrew Bynum who actually played against Brooklyn after sitting out the entire 2012-13 season -- Irving thinks the Cavs can make it to the postseason.
Despite a poor shooting performance (4 for 16 from the field), Irving finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Check out one of those assists below.
