Universal Hunks is a new photography book both sexy and historic that features over 300 images of diverse hunks from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North and South America between 1895-1975.
Embodying global fascination, the book is comprised of photographs, illustrations, advertisements, editorial cartoons, European comic books, Soviet propaganda posters, and other ephemera from David L. Chapman's extensive and one-of-a-kind collection.
"The term 'hunk' is very subjective," said Chapman in a statement, "but to me it signifies a person whose combination of muscularity, physical beauty and sexiness places him above the rest norm. Some hunks are serious athletes, and others are just ordinary guys who have been blessed with a smokin’ hot bod. As I warn in the preface to the book, the men in Universal Hunks were chosen by me and reflect my biases."
Identified as "a pictorial history of muscular men around the world," Universal Hunks is currently available for purchase through Amazon. Check out a preview of the over 300 hunks showcased throughout the book in the slideshow below.
