They say blondes have more fun. Maybe that's why Beverly Johnson decided to take the hue for a spin last night at the Glamour's 23rd Annual Women Of The Year Gala.
The former supermodel-turned-entrepreneur was almost unrecognizable while donning a head full of long golden locks at the event. But there's no denying those age-defying good looks, which made her the first black woman to grace the cover of American Vogue and racked up 15 Glamour covers.
While we applaud Beverly for being adventurous, we're not loving this color on her. It's a little too Nicki Minaj and not enough Beyoncé. However, we presume the 60-year-old icon was wearing a lace front wig (no doubt from her highly successful company, the Beverly Johnson Wig and Hair Extension Collection), so no permanent damage was done.
What do you think of her 'do?
Here's a look at Beverly's blond bombshell moment -- and make sure to check out a few other black-girls-gone-blonde in the slideshow below.
