NBA referee Joey Crawford took his whistle-happy officiating to a new level on Friday night and it didn't involve any of the players on the court. Instead, he directed his whistle toward the mop boy.
Crawford blew his whistle and called over the mop boy before allowing Philadelphia to inbound the ball late in the third quarter. But the kid apparently didn't do a good job at cleaning up the dirty spot that the longtime official pointed out. Crawford blew his whistle at the mop boy again, stared him down and then called over two other kids with towels to finish the job.

Even when the two other kids were wiping the spot down, Crawford continued to stare down the mop boy.
Poor kid. Maybe this will cheer him up.
