Laura Prepon will be in more than one episode of "Orange Is The New Black" Season 2. According to BuzzFeed, which originally reported her limited Season 2 role, Prepon will be in four episodes of Season 2 of the Netflix drama.
Prepon's limited Season 2 involvement first made headlines in August. At the time she was expected back for at least one episode to wrap up her story.
In September, Prepon told Variety she was ready to return to "Orange Is The New Black." “I know what’s happening, but I can’t spoil anything,” she said. “But I’m definitely coming back for season two. I know there’s a lot floating around, but I can’t wait to get back there. It’s exciting.”
BuzzFeed reports Prepon will film her Season 2 appearance in New York soon and her story will be more open-ended for a possible third season. In the meantime, Prepon is at work on her first feature, which she described as her "Garden State."
Season 2 will focus less on Taylor Schilling's character Piper Chapman, series executive producer Jenji Kohan said. "It's becoming much more of an ensemble," Kohan told TV Guide. "As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody's journey."
"Orange Is The New Black" Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix. Season 2 is in production now.
