Alec Baldwin 'Assaults' Reporter And Knocks His Phone To The Ground

Alec Baldwin had yet another run-in with the press when he "assaulted" a reporter and knocked his smartphone to the ground on Friday.

Baldwin was filmed exiting his New York City apartment on Nov. 15 en route to a hair salon, according to video obtained by X17Online.com. He was met by a group of photographers and reporters outside his door, looking for soundbites from the notoriously hot-headed actor. Baldwin walked up to one man who was using a camera phone and pushed him into the side of a car before knocking the phone from his hand.

The reporter then ran after the actor saying, "You just assaulted me! You just assaulted me!"

"Don't come near me," Baldwin responded. "You're assaulting me," he mimicked. "Yeah, you're assaulting me ... Take a walk buddy. You don't wanna get hurt, do you?"

The former "30 Rock" star eventually made it to the salon, but police were apparently later called to the scene.

This incident was the second to occur on Friday. Earlier in the day, Baldwin confronted and threatened a Fox reporter outside his home, WNYW reported. The 55-year-old had been out walking his dogs and wanted the man to leave the sidewalk in front of his apartment.

"If you're still here when my wife and kid come out, you're going to have a big problem, you know that," he said. "You are as dumb as you look, you are with Fox, right?"

Friday's issues come on the heels of Baldwin reportedly hurling an anti-gay slur at a photographer on Thursday, apparently calling him a "c--ksucking f-g" as the man tried to get photos of the Baldwin family. The encounter was caught on camera and published by TMZ, but the actor adamantly denied ever using a homophobic epithet.

Despite his denial, GLAAD and Anderson Cooper both released statements condemning his language.

Mr. Baldwin can’t lend his support for equality on paper, while degrading gay people in practice.

It's clearly time Mr. Baldwin listens to the calls from so many LGBT people and allies to end this pattern of anti-gay slurs.

Wow, Alec Baldwin shows his true colors yet again. How is he going to lie and excuse his anti-gay slurs this time?

Baldwin's wife, Hilaria, continues to stand by her man's actions in response to the paparazzi.

“I think that you need to turn the camera around and you need to look at yourselves and see what you're doing,” she said, per the New York Daily News. “This is our home, and you're standing outside of our home.”
