Darren Criss Sings 'A Whole New World' With Lea Salonga At NYC's Marie's Crisis Gay Piano Bar

WATCH: 'Glee' Hunk Hits NYC Gay Bar For Impromptu Performance

Darren Criss surprised revelers at a popular New York gay piano bar when he popped in for an impromptu performance.

The hunky "Glee" star played piano and sang "A Whole New World" from Disney's "Aladdin" alongside pal Lea Salonga, the Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran ("Miss Saigon," "Les Miserables") who voiced Princess Jasmine in the 1992 animated movie.

In a second clip (found below), Criss is seen introducing Salonga, who wowed the crowd with a powerful version of the "Les Miz" ballad "On My Own."

It's unclear when the performance took place exactly, but video footage surfaced on YouTube as of Nov. 13 and has since been posted on NewNowNext and Broadway.com, among other media outlets. Judging from the bar's apparent Halloween decor, we're guessing October or earlier this month.

UPDATE: A reader told HuffPost Gay Voices that Criss and Salonga appeared at Marie's Crisis on the evening of Nov. 9.
