Calling his Austin, Texas, house "Acqua Villa" is somewhat of a misnomer, but homeowner Milton Verret does it anyway, despite the fact that the home's most memorable feature isn't its proximity to the water, but its over-the-top lighting fixtures.
From floor-to-ceiling windows outfitted with shades that are programmed to open and close depending on the position of the sun throughout the day, to a remote-controlled LED fixture that can be color coordinated with the interior decor, Verret, a former lighting director at Paramount Studios, brought his passion for lighting design into every corner of the space.
