As a successful CEO and businesswoman with a family, Martha Stewart had shared her insights on the importance of striking a healthy balance.
Martha started her major career -- her move into the magazine industry and launch of Martha Stewart Omnimedia -- after she had already been married and had a child, so she was equipped to balance work and home life at the time. However, as her career soared, Martha's marriage suffered.
"My marriage failed because of my attention spent on work, and my ex-husband was not comfortable with me spending so much time at the office," she said.
"I think that balance is very hard to attain, and I marvel at the young women these days who can balance multiple kids and a husband at home with a job." Martha mentioned her hard-working editors, who all balance families at home with their busy careers.
