Women Hanging Out With Turkeys -- A Thanksgiving Tradition For The Ages?

When you think of generic images of women on Thanksgiving you likely picture families eating dinner, watching football and enjoying each other's company. While there are plenty of eating and hugging images out there, stock photographers also apparently think there's a market for photos of women hanging out with turkeys (both dead and alive, feathered and stripped, cooked and uncooked).

Stock photos are notorious for being over the top -- and often downright absurd. We've shown you what women apparently do on Valentine's Day, how we use umbrellas and even what we look like when we're stressed. In order to truly give thanks to the delicious turkeys most of us eat around Thanksgiving, we present you women hanging out with turkeys.

  • Sit back and relax with your best friend ... who you may or may not be eating for dinner later.
  • Who needs a dog when you have a pet turkey for companionship?
  • The coolest way to arrive at Thanksgiving dinner is to ride in on dinner itself, wearing no pants and a weird pilgrim outfit. (Side note: is that turkey on steroids?!)
  • A fierce, sultry woman, a butcher knife, a dead turkey ... and carrots? We're lost.
  • You can never have too many pets and/or besties.
  • The dangers of eating turkey: It may, in fact, eat you instead -- specifically, your face.
  • "If you're a bird, I'm a bird." We think this feathered fellow is giving Ryan Gosling a run for his money.
  • Step one: snuggle the turkey. Step two: cook the turkey.
  • A girl, her turkey and her axe. The perfect recipe for a wonderful Thanksgiving day.
  • "Now darling, be quiet. We don't want to scare the turkey, we just want to quietly sneak up behind it and kill it."
  • Forget "Diamonds are a girl's best friend." Apparently, turkeys are a girl's best date.
  • These two look way too chummy to be hanging out next to that axe.
