Claire Danes looked gorgeous (albeit a bit serious) in Vogue, sassy and Homeland-y in Elle and a little sexy for Interview magazine. But Danes' new Glamour cover shoot might be our favorite, and not just because she looks glowing, cheery and utterly un-Carrie Mathison.
Nope, it's our favorite because there's a puppy. In Claire's lap. Giving its best fashion face just as Claire gives hers in a chic blue-on-blue denim outfit by Chloe and J Brand with bold red lipstick.
Danes also strikes a pup-free pose on the cover, wearing a springy red and white dress by The Row. Inside the mag, she actually admits that clothing isn't her forte recently, given how much time she spends wearing her "Homeland" costumes:
"Carrie wears a lot of Theory. That is her brand. She's a Theory girl. It's a lot of navy. A lot of navy. I actually forget how to wear my own clothing when I'm filming because I wear basically the same pair of jeans and a long-sleeve T-shirt and then change out of it and immediately into my pantsuit."
Luckily, Danes had an editor to help her with this one. And also a dog, which just makes every fashion shoot better. Come to think of it... why don't all magazine shoots involve puppies?
