Aisha Tyler Calls Kanye West 'The Straight, Black Liberace'

When Aisha Tyler dropped by "The Late Late Show," Craig Ferguson wanted to get her take on the Kardashians. The conversation quickly turned to the latest "member" of the clan, the Kardashian-adjacent Kanye West. Tyler said she had a bone to pick with the star.

Tyler started it off by saying that she has a friendly relationship with West, having served on the board of his charity foundation focused on bringing music into schools. "He’s abandoned all that in favor of being the straight, black Liberace and I don’t understand what’s happening," Tyler said. "I like his ambition, but just feel like he should get, like, a smartphone and say everything he’s gonna say publicly into the phone and then listen back. You know, just for a moment.”

Zap2It's Andrea Reiher couldn't help giggling over the exchange. Kanye West didn't immediately respond to Tyler's "straight, black Liberace" comment just yet, but he might. As Jimmy Kimmel well knows, West doesn't take to well to late night talk shows talking about him.

Aisha Tyler is a co-host on "The Talk," weekdays at 2 p.m. EST on CBS. "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. EST on CBS.
