Keri Russell And Husband Shane Deary Split After Almost 7 Years Of Marriage

Just a day after Keri Russell's Brooklyn home was burglarized, her rep has confirmed that she and her husband of almost seven years, Shane Deary, have split.

"They have been separated since early summer," the actress' rep tells People. "The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children."

"The Americans" star, 37, and Deary, a contractor, have two children together -- son River, 6, and daughter Willa, who turns 2 years old on Dec. 27. The couple met through mutual friends and tied the knot on Valentine's Day in 2007.

Russell previously spoke to TV Guide about being married to someone outside the spotlight, admitting Deary didn't always understand the celebrity lifestyle.

"It's definitely something to get used to," she explained. "But I think it's good that it makes him uncomfortable. I think anyone who is too comfortable with all this stuff is strange. It's normal that he's uncomfortable. Like, if someone takes our picture on the street, I tell him, 'Act however you want to act. It's uncomfortable; you can look uncomfortable.'"
