Here's a riddle: Is it a regift if it's done in such a way that the recipient has no idea it was a regift? That's what the main discussion was on HuffPost Live this week when that scourge of the gifting season came up. The best answer that we came up with was: Yes, it is technically a regift on the giver's part...but it's not really a bad regift since the action was never noticed. Basically, you have to be Batman (or be the sort of person who ends up having too many Rolexes come Christmastime) to pull this off.
