Man's Proposal To Soon-To-Be Stepdaughter Will Melt Your Heart

So when Shana Warner's boyfriend, Jeff, asked her to marry him last week, he knew the next step was making sure Shana's daughter, Ally, was on board with the engagement, too.

That's why days after popping the question to Shana, Jeff was back on bended knee, presenting six-year-old Ally with a kid-sized ring of her own and asking her if she'd be his stepdaughter. (Oh, and Santa was there, too. Talk about a cherry on top.)

As you can see, Ally said "yes," but in an interview with the Daily Mail, Shana said her daughter was initially "in awe" over the sweet surprise and didn't know how to react.

"She was so overwhelmed with feelings and that she was given something so precious she tried giving Jeff a dollar," Shana laughed.
