Amy Adams Sings 'Grease' In First-Ever On-Camera Work

At this point, celebrities should just prepare themselves. Everything they've ever done is online, and a late night talk show host is going to make them watch themselves in -- hopefully -- embarrassing early projects. On "Late Night," Jimmy Fallon queued lined up an old commercial for Amy Adams to watch. It was her first on-camera job, singing a "Grease" cover.

"I’ve never seen this, I was like twenty something," Adams said, genuinely excited to see it. Her first reaction? "Gosh, I look so young.” Singing and music have clearly been a part of her acting repertoire since the very beginning. "Late Night" gave her an A+ via Twitter.

Adams recently told The Hollywood Reporter that she currently has a dream of starring in a Broadway musical. Based on her vocal chops in that commercial, and more recently in "Enchanted," she certainly seems to have the talent. For now, though, fans can enjoy the four-time Oscar nominee in another filming getting Oscar buzz, "American Hustle." The film hits theaters in limited release December 13, and in wide release December 20.

"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. EST on NBC.

TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
