John Madden's "Shakespeare in Love" was released on Dec. 11, 1998. Starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Joseph Fiennes, Geoffrey Rush, and Judi Dench, among others, the Oscar-winning film drew inspiration from various Shakespeare classics, focusing largely on "Romeo & Juliet."
