'Rosemary's Baby' Miniseries Is A Go At NBC

'Rosemary's Baby' Is Definitely Happening

Move over, Mia Farrow: A "Rosemary's Baby" miniseries is officially headed to NBC.

Based on the best-selling suspense novel by Ira Levin, "Rosemary's Baby" centers on a young couple -- Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse -- who move into a haunted apartment in Paris. When Rosemary gets pregnant, she becomes increasingly suspicious of her husband and other people in the building.

“As we move into the event movie and miniseries space, 'Rosemary’s Baby' represents the kind of attention-getting, surprising project that will make noise for us," NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said in a statement, according to Deadline. "The story has been updated and moved to Paris, but it’s faithful to the spirit of Ira Levin’s classic novel.”

Casting for "Rosemary's Baby" will begin immediately, with filming starting in January in Paris (where else?).

Who do you think would be a good fit for the role of Rosemary? Sound off in the comments.
