'Game Of Thrones' Golden Globes: HBO Show Snubbed In A Big Way

'Game Of Thrones' Overlooked Majorly In 2014 Golden Globe Nods

The 2014 Golden Globe nominations are in, and HBO's "Game of Thrones" was seriously overlooked by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The fantasy show wasn't nominated in any category.

But, this may not be a surprise to fans who follow award show drama. Last year, "Game of Thrones" was snubbed by the 2013 Golden Globes, and received no nominations.

But two years ago, "Game of Thrones" moderately cleaned up. Peter Dinklage won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or TV Movie for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister, beating out Paul Giamatti, Guy Pearce, Tim Robbins, and Eric Stonestreet. Additionally, the series earned a nomination for Best Drama Series at the 2012 Golden Globes.

Tune into the 2014 Golden Globes on Jan. 12, 2014.

The fourth season of "Game of Thrones" will premiere in 2014 on HBO.
