Sofia Vergara is TV's highest paid actress, which works out well for the "Modern Family" star since she freely admits she "loves making money."
We have to hand it to the 41-year-old. While other celebrities might claim they're in the industry for the "love of the craft," Vergara cut straight to chase telling Glam Belleza Latina, "I'm not ashamed to say I love making money."
The Colombian actress has cashed in on her fame by aligning herself with a number of brands including CoverGirl, Diet Pepsi, and Kmart, telling the magazine that she has a "special eye for opportunities" and is very careful with her money, saving away and investing way more than she spends.
She also revealed she finds it "fun" to "shock" people with her business ideas, since she believes most people think she's actually the character she plays on "Modern Family."
"I think that the concept of being sexy and smart is difficult for many to grasp," she told the magazine. "Most people are more comfortable with the notion of 'sexy bimbo.' And I have to admit that I’ve capitalized on that to negotiate a couple of times. When the 'smart ones' think I have no idea what I can deliver, I end up costing them more."
Lesson of the day -- don't underestimate Sofia Vergara.
