There are two ways to look at the early days of parenthood.
In one scenario, ages 0 - 4 are like one long practical joke. Babies come with too much stuff and sleepless nights. They turn into toddlers who leave Legos on the floor, wreck your house and spill green goo on your treasured possessions.
In the second, having them around transcends all of that -- so much so that you might even want to subject yourself to it over and over again.
