Nancy Grace has renewed her contract with HLN, CNN's sister network, through 2017, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
The host was rumored to have been part of the sweeping overhaul that began in November, when several HLN daytime shows were cancelled and executives announced that they would try to move the network away from its relentless focus on crime.
But Grace, who has been with the network since 2005, told the Post that she and CNN chief Jeff Zucker had discussed the contract renewal back in July.
"There are always haters out there," she said regarding the claims that she was on the chopping block. "Especially for a person who’s in a position that I’m lucky enough to be in." However, in an apparent nod to the many alterations taking place around her, she added that there might be plans to "change [the show] up a bit."
