2013 Year In No. 1s: 'Iron Man 3,' Beyonce, 'The Walking Dead'

Robert Downey, Jr. pretty much won 2013. His "Iron Man 3" dominated at the box office, bringing in $409.01 million in domestic ticket sales and $806.42 million abroad for a worldwide gross of $1.215 billion. He also took the honor of the highest-earning actor this year, making $75 million.

Downey, Jr. wasn't alone in his good fortune. This past year was also big for breakout stars Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, perpetual list-maker Sofia Vergara, and of course, Miley Cyrus. We've chronicled this year's chart-toppers below, in the year in No. 1s.
