Jurnee Smollett has grown up before our eyes. The 27-year-old star isn't the little girl from "Eve's Bayou" anymore -- her sexy role in this year's "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" made that crystal clear. And her personal style is just as grown, sexy and sophisticated as she is! 
Another child star who has blossomed into quite the young woman is actress Keke Palmer. We've seen her transform from a teeny boppin' Disney star to playing a Grammy-Award winning member of TLC. And while her acting skills have grown, so has her flare for fashion. 
There was no denying Ciara's sartorial prowess this year. The singer/dancer has always turned heads, but in 2013 she kicked her style up a few notches. Now a fixture on the front row of Fashion Weeks around the world, our radar is permanently fixed on the star. 
Teyonah Parris might not be a household name yet, but we think it's only a matter of time before that happens. The "Mad Men" actress is slowly but surely making her presence known on the small screen AND the red carpet. 
We haven't been shy about our love for actress Lupita Nyong'o. On screen her performance in "12 Years A Slave" was incredible and off screen her style stole our hearts. We're dying to see what she steps out in during awards season. 
This British bombshell is blazin' hot and is only going to get hotter in the new year. We're talking about "Mandela" actress Naomie Harris, of course! She has served up some major style moments over the past year and we can't wait to lay eyes on what she has in store for 2014. 
Last but certainly not least, we will remain obsessed with the awesomeness that are our first daughters -- Malia and Sasha Obama. Style stars, indeed. 
Let's just hope these ladies don't wear any of these looks in the new year...
