Jessica Simpson Reveals She's Getting Married In 2014, Says 'I Think It's About Time'

Jessica Simpson is finally getting married, y'all!

The 33-year-old singer-turned-fashion mogul is gearing up to tie the knot this year after being engaged to fiance Eric Johnson for three years. The couple put their wedding plans on hold after welcoming children, Maxwell Drew, 19 months, and Ace Knute, 6 months, but now, they're ready to walk down the aisle.

“The new year will definitely bring on the wedding bells, which is exciting … I think it’s about time,” Simpson shares in a new video, which features outtakes from her new Weight Watchers ad. Simpson has been working hard to lose weight since welcoming son Ace last June and is determined to fit into her wedding gown.

“Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is definitely incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, keep counting my points and stay in the gym," she explains. "I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know.”

Still, Simpson isn't just focused on her nuptials -- she wants to feel confident in her day-to-day life, as well.

“I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt,” she says. “I can’t wait to be able to feel just comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before. I know this time I’m going to be so much stronger and so much more empowered, because I really earned it and I really got here, and took the steps to get here.”
