What CEOs Say Is The Key To Success (VIDEO)

Whether it's a former NFL player or an author and philanthropist, even the world's most successful people have varying definitions of what makes someone a success.

Though they vary widely, the personal experiences of the most powerful businesspeople in the country shed light on the most effective ways to achieve personal goals and make an impact on the world. Betty Liu collected the stories of CEOs like Warren Buffet and Elon Musk in her book "Work Smarts: What CEOs Say You Need To Know to Get Ahead," and she joined HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd to discuss the wisdom they shared.

"CEOs all had different definitions of success," Liu said. "Some said they felt like they were still trying to climb the ladder and figure out what success is. Others said it's when you know that you love what you do, that you wake up every morning and it's exactly where you want to be."
