There Was A 115-Degree Temperature Difference Between Florida And Minnesota On Thursday

Posted: Updated:

Minnesotans are probably wishing they were a little farther south today as a winter storm barrels across the country, bringing frigid temperatures along with it.

Residents of International Falls, Minn. woke up this morning to a glacial -38 degrees Fahrenheit. On the other end of the U.S., those living in Key West, Fla. were probably tossing on shorts and flip-flops for a pleasant 77 degree start to the day -- a staggering 115-degree temperature difference between the two cities.

The biting temperatures extended throughout Canada, with some parts of the country dropping down to -58 degrees Fahrenheit.
