Celebrity fitness trainer Joel Harper had a few great tips to share for what snacks to have in your bag in case you ever have to skip a meal.
Joel is a huge advocate of protein bars, though he warned us to watch out for sugar content. "Make sure they contain twice as much protein as sugar," he said.
When we asked him to name a brand of protein bars he'd highly recommend, Joel went with ProMax, a brand which actually lists their ingredients right on the front of the wrapper rather than the back. As far as calories, these bars contain anywhere between 80-150 calories depending on the type, making this a sweet and healthy meal substitute if you must skip out.
