9-Year-Old Girl Plays High School Varsity Basketball Like A Boss (VIDEO)

WATCH: 9-Year-Old Girl Plays HS Basketball Like A BOSS

Nine-year-old Jaden Newman is in fourth grade. But in her free time, she's also the point guard for a high school varsity basketball team.

In this jaw-dropping highlight reel, Jaden -- a player for the girls varsity basketball team of Downey Christian School in Orlando, Fla. -- coolly takes on opponents who tower over her, whizzing around the court with aplomb:

According to high school sports website MaxPreps.com, Jaden is the younger sister of basketball prodigy Julian Newman, who made headlines in 2012 after making his high school varsity debut as a fifth-grader. Julian, who plays for Downey Christian's boys varsity team, is reportedly averaging 16.7 points and 9.6 assists per game this season. (You can watch Julian storm the courts in the video below.)

Jaden may be a few years younger than her brother, but she's proving that she's got just as much game as he does. According to Bleacher Report, Jaden is currently averaging an impressive 14.8 points and 7.5 assists per game.

Jaden and Julian are the children of Jamie Newman, their school's basketball coach. But it seems that it's all talent and not nepotism that has brought athletes into the varsity spotlight.

"He definitely proved us wrong,” then-junior and basketball player Jonathan Ferrell told the New York Times of Julian's place on the team last year. “I look up to him now because he’s so much better than me.”
