Anne Hathaway had us very nervous this week after she was caught in a riptide in Hawaii.
The Oscar-winning actress panicked and screamed for help after a rip current reportedly pulled her under water while she was taking a dip in Oahu. Luckily, a surfer was nearby and helped her to shore where her husband Adam Shulman waited. She allegedly cut her foot, and Shulman tended to her wounds.
But aside from the incident, the pair seemed to be enjoying their Hawaiian getaway and basked in the sun all week.
Also soaking up the sun was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who has posted photos from her vacation on Instagram. The model and actress shared dozens of bikini pictures as she relaxed in Hawaii with boyfriend Jason Statham.
But while Hathaway and Huntington-Whiteley were taking in the warm weather, some celebrities were on the East Coast, feeling the freezing effects of the polar vortex. Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram to prove it's never too cold for an outdoor science experiment as she threw a cup of boiling water into the frigid hair. Believe it or not, the water froze instantly.
As usual though, the stars who call Los Angeles home enjoyed pleasant temperatures, and even stepped out on the red carpet for the People's Choice Awards. Justin Timberlake, Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears, Kaley Cuoco, Sandra Bullock and more attended the event, which kicked off awards show season in Hollywood.
That's right, get ready for the Golden Globe Awards -- with a little Tina Fey and Amy Poehler action -- on Sunday (Jan. 12).
