Leonardo DiCaprio Wins Best Actor At The Golden Globes

Leonardo DiCaprio took home the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the 71st annual Golden Globes.

DiCaprio won the award for his part in "The Wolf of Wall Street," beating out Christian Bale for "American Hustle," Bruce Dern for "Nebraska," Oscar Isaac for "Inside Llewyn Davis" and Joaquin Phoenix for "Her."

Directed by Martin Scorsese, "The Wolf of Wall Street" was also nominated for Best Picture - Musical or Comedy. The film, which tells the story of crooked stockbroker Jordan Belfort, also stars Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey and Kyle Chandler, among others. This is DiCaprio's second Golden Globe. He won his first for his role in 2004's "The Aviator."

At the 70th annual Golden Globes, Hugh Jackman took home this award for his role in "Les Misérables." He beat out Jack Black for "Bernie," Bradley Cooper for "Silver Linings Playbook," Ewan McGregor for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" and Bill Murray for "Hyde Park on Hudson."

Other past Best Actor winners include Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra, Alan Arkin, and Jack Nicholson.
