Jacqueline Bisset Explains Her Bizarre Acceptance Speech At 2014 Golden Globes

The Reason Behind Bisset's Bizarre Acceptance Speech

Jacqueline Bisset won Best Supporting Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries at Sunday's (Jan. 12) Golden Globe awards for her work in "Dancing on the Edge," but during her acceptance speech it appeared as though the talented English beauty was dancing on the edge of ... sanity.

About 15 minutes into the awards show telecast, a seemingly bewildered Bisset slowly made her way to the stage, then proceeded to accept the award with a rambling, almost incoherent speech.

Backstage after her win, Bisset blamed hunger.

"Sorry it took so long. I was in a daze," Bisset said according to TV Line. "I was certainly surprised [to win], and I was completely out of it [just beforehand], thinking, 'Where is my dinner?' I still hadn't gotten the dinner I was expecting."
