Miley Cyrus Sounds Off On Being Called An 'Ugly Lesbian'

Miley Responds To Being Called An 'Ugly Lesbian'

Break-out star Miley Cyrus took to Twitter over the weekend to sound off on an insult the singer claims gets hurled at her quite frequently.

Responding to being called an "ugly lesbian," Cyrus tweeted out the following statement to her followers:

This isn't the first time Cyrus has spoken out about being called a lesbian. In mid-July, she responded to a series of lesbian rumors by saying, "I’m not offended. You can call me much worse... Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me.”

Cyrus is known as a long-time LGBT ally, having previously had the equality symbol tattooed on her middle finger.

The singer also stopped by Facebook last summer to help the social media platform kick off LGBTQ Pride Month, earning Cyrus a spot on HuffPost Gay Voices' list of "21 Of The Biggest LGBT Allies Of 2013."
