Actress Jacqueline Bisset says she "can't remember" the bizarre acceptance speech she gave at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.
The 69-year-old spoke with the New York Post's Page Six after the show Sunday, Jan. 12, about what she said when accepting the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries or TV Movie for her work in BBC's "Dancing on the Edge."
“I can’t remember what I said. Somebody told me I swore?" she told Page Six. The publication added that presenters Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum were left in a fit of giggles backstage over the "crazy" moment.
While Bisset might not remember her speech, it's certainly hard for others to forget.
On stage, the actress spoke about her acting career and her mother, randomly interjecting with quips like "Scottish background to the front!" and "You have to forgive everybody. It's the best beauty treatment." She also said the word s--t, which NBC failed to censor.
Some Twitter users questioned if she had been drinking.
Bisset previously explained to Variety that she was confused about the line-up of the show, which might partly explain what happened.
“I was told my category was coming up second from last, so I was absolutely stunned,” she said. “I wondered why the guy was there with a camera on me. I was completely out of it, I was thinking about my dinner. And I still haven’t gotten my dinner yet.”
