Lupita Nyong'o turned plenty of heads with her gorgeous gown at the Golden Globe Awards. The "12 Years a Slave" star looked like she fit right in among Hollywood's elite, but she admitted on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that she was starstruck at every turn. "I felt like my TV had broken and they’d all fallen into my living room or something," she said of the star power surrounding her.
Later, she admitted that she had a checklist of celebrities she wanted to meet. At the top of that list was Leonardo DiCaprio. She first fell in love with him after watching "Romeo + Juliet," so was thrilled when she got to meet him. She said he was very sweet, and his mom took a picture of the two of them together.
She took to Instagram to chronicle her magical night, posting pics with more stars from her "checklist," like Jessica Chastain, Lena Dunham, and Jared Leto. Now that she's met so many of them, she might be able to relax and enjoy the upcoming Academy Awards. While nominations won't be announced until Thursday, her film is sure to be up for a few -- and she might find her name called out as well.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
