Peyton Manning's Bud Light Preference Called Out By Colorado Craft Beer Brewery

Colorado Brewery Wants Peyton To Ditch Bud Light For Their Beer

After the Broncos beat the Chargers on Sunday, one of the most memorable post-game quotes came from Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who told reporters the thing that was weighing on his mind most was "how soon I can get a Bud Light in my mouth."

Bud Light tweeted this Vine of Manning's post-game craving after the big game:

But Colorado's Left Hand Brewing Company, a craft beer brewery based in Longmont, decided to have a little fun with the all-star quarterback and call "audible" on his Bud Light "play."

Left Hand prepared three cases of of their finest craft beer to be delivered to Manning with a note that read:

Mr. Manning,

Just like you, we decided to call an audible and change the play at the line to provide you with some Colorado craft beer from Left Hand Brewery. We feel it's a better play call.

We'll be cheering you on against the Patriots! Go Broncos!

Cheers,
The Crew at Left Hand Brewing Co.

The beer brewer posted the case of beer and note to their Facebook page earlier this week:

Left Hand spokeswoman Emily Armstrong told the Denver Post that the cases of Polestar Pilsner, Sawtooth Ale and Milk Stout Nitro were delivered to the Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver on Monday.

There's no word on what Manning thought of the delivery, but in a matchup of Milk Stout and Bud Light, we're going to have to bet on Left Hand.
