Last year seemed to be the beginning of a wonderful phenomenon: Celebrities wearing bolder lip colors than ever before. From "Pretty Little Liars" actress Troian Bellisario's matte black lip adventure to Rihanna's unforgettable island blue pout, we foresee more experimental lip looks happening in 2014.
So we recommend giving it a go with a trend that's been a hit on the red carpet: Orange lips. While red is a classic go-to and nude could be your best friend, orange is the new... well, both of those things and more.
"Masters of Sex's" Caitlin Fitzgerald's punchy coral lips at the 2013 Golden Globes and "New Girl's" Hannah Simone's brilliant tangerine lip color at the recent Tory Burch Rodeo Drive flagship store opening, prove we all can indulge in this awesome shade. And here's why:
Although some may disagree, orange is becoming one of those colors that you just casually put on for a normal day.
But on the flip side, orange lips look perfect when paired with grillz...
... or a sassy face.
And might we add that orange goes on beautifully.
As mentioned, celebs LOVE it.
Orange lipstick definitely made its mark on the runway during New York Fashion Week Spring 2014.
Rag & Bone
Don't worry, there's a hue for anybody who wants to flaunt it.
