No Evidence Of Shots Fired At University Of Oklahoma

UPDATE -- 1:13 p.m. The University of Oklahoma is saying that no shots have been fired and there are no injuries after an earlier report from the university said there was a shooting. Normal campus operations have resumed, except for Gould Hall, where police are continuing to investigate.

The University of Oklahoma is reporting a shooting on campus.

On their website, the university, located in Norman, is asking people to avoid Gould Hall and to seek immediate shelter.

KOCO reports that shots were fired at Gould Hall, a dormitory. The university has sent text message alerts to students and faculty.

Police are on the scene.
