Kids' Space Art Will Remind You To Marvel At The Wonders Of Our Universe Like A Child

This Is What Kids Think Space Looks Like

Have you ever turned a cardboard box into a spaceship and pretended that you were going to outer space? When you're a kid, it's easy to let your imagination run wild.

Just take a look at how children around the world responded when the non-profit Space Foundation launched its 2014 Space Foundation International Student Art Contest, asking young artists to illustrate what their "spaceship looks like."

Children from age three to 18, representing 54 different countries, submitted their visions. What's some of their best ways to explore the outer reaches of our universe? In rockets made out of pinecones and spaceships shaped like dolphins and dragons, of course.
