Rooftop Skateboarding In Brooklyn Is Impressive, Incredibly Dangerous

WATCH: Rooftop Skateboarding Is Impressive, Incredibly Dangerous

Colin Read shot footage of rooftop skateboarders in Brooklyn, N.Y., telling Gothamist it "was an exploration of how you can push the boundaries." That's one way of putting it. Another might be "Oh my God, you're going to roll right over that ledge!"

Read assured Gothamist that no one was hurt in the recently posted video.

This urban daredevilry -- a taste of Read's skate-action DVD "Tengu: God of Mischief" -- is make-your-heart-jump skateboarding without the "X Games" fanfare.

Commenters at arts and culture blog Dangerous Minds debated the degree of risk, and we have to say that we're equal parts impressed and terrified for these skaters' safety.

Oh, and if you were wondering where that warning is telling you not to attempt such a stunt, it's right here: DO NOT TRY THIS ON YOUR ROOF OR ANYONE ELSE'S. There, we said it.
