Robert Pattinson spent 2013 away from the spotlight, but he's back with an art-house-y vengeance in 2014 thanks to a pair of films: David Cronenberg's "Map to the Stars" and David Michôd's "The Rover." That latter feature, a post-apocalyptic thriller set for release this summer via A24, stars Pattinson as a gang member who gets left behind after a robbery, and is forced to help the victim (Guy Pearce) recover his stolen property: a car. Michôd, who directed the acclaimed film "Animal Kingdom," shot "The Rover" in his native Australia, and the first trailer is filled with the kind of beautiful and stark imagery that would be at home in "The Road Warrior." This one looks great. Watch below.
