Three Traits Of An Olympic Champion, From Scott Hamilton (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton knows exactly what traits are required to become an Olympic champion.

First, Scott discussed the importance of simply showing up every day, ready to train in the midst of serious pressure. “Imagine someone saying you have five seconds to tie your shoes in front of one million people! It’s kind of like that,” Scott laughed.

Another important trait: “Be willing to put yourself out there responsibly,” especially in front of millions of people.

Finally, it’s all about luck and timing. “You have to be the right person at that time. If it had been four years before or later, I wouldn’t have won,” Scott told us.
