Known for its consistently strong ads, Budweiser may have topped itself this year with its adorable "Puppy Love" Super Bowl commercial.
Featuring a dogged little puppy who becomes best friends with his favorite Budweiser Clydesdale horse, this heartwarming spot is cute without becoming overwhelmingly sappy. The commercial depicts the struggles of a Labrador puppy who is constantly sneaking next door to visit his friend, the Clydesdale, only to be found and returned. When the puppy is adopted, his heartbroken horse friend enlists the rest of the Clydesdales in a show of loyalty that may coax a happy tear from even the most hardened sports fan.
Super Bowl XLVIII was filled with puppy-themed spots, so Budweiser's achievement as one of the cutest ads this year is quite an achievement.

The commercial is also meant as a sequel of sorts, continuing on from Budweiser's spot last year "Brotherhood" about a Clydesdale that grew close to its rugged trainer.
